Hi everyone,
I’m based in West Cork, Ireland, and mostly dive and shoot in cold water, doing shore dives around Bantry Bay / Beara. I come from a technical diving background and have recently become more interested in underwater photography, with a strong focus on macro.
I’m currently in the process of switching to a new setup: an OM-1 in a Nauticam NA-OM1 housing, primarily using the Olympus 60 mm macro with a single Backscatter MF-2 strobe. I also have a Nauticam CMC-1 on a flip adapter for super-macro, which I’m planning to use in the future. I try to keep my rig simple, clean, and predictable, and I’m particularly interested in lighting control and general underwater shooting techniques, as well as small practical rigging details that make life easier underwater.
