RVBldr, thanks for the positive feedback.  You are correct - it was pretty deep.  I believe the deck of the San Francisco Maru is around 165' so you don't have much time at that depth.  It is one of my favourite dives though.  I took this photograph back in February 2013 with a Nikon D800 and a 14-24mm lens.  I'm heading back in April 2025 with my D850 and a 16-35mm lens to see if I can get a better shot.

Love this photo. The mood and the scene. You should submit to Historical Diver Magazine. It would make great cover shot. Do you know what helmet is in the photo ?
