  1. @Sokrates to clarify, I'm switching from Canon R5 back to Sony so I need to change my whole rig. And would like something a little more compact than the Marelux for freediving. So even it's a bit smaller I'll take it πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

  4. Thank you so much Rune, that is kind of you to say ☺️
  5. Thanks so much everyone for your SUPER helpful comments! How wonderful! I have one more question: do you ever find that the bright red colour of the housing reflects back into the shots? I remember photographing frogs in my pond a few years ago, and I was wearing a bright blue kayaking drysuit, which reflected in the shiny eyes of the frogs ...

  8. Hello, I'm thinking of changing my current underwater rig for something smaller and I've heard Isotta housings are very compact compared to other aluminium housings. Is anyone here using an Isotta housing and loving it? I'd love to hear thoughts/feedback. I use my setup professionally and my camera of choice for the Isotta is a Sony A7RV. Many thanks, Lou
  9. Hey hello! I'm a freediving ocean storyteller with a background in marine biology based in Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. My main photography focus is on marine life but I also enjoy creating natural artistic shots of freedivers and swimmers, with a leaning towards the natural nude! Living in Wales I spend a large chunk of the year waiting for the viz to improve. My husband and I spent three years as liveaboard sailors between 2020 and 2023, exploring the Canary Islands and the eastern Caribbean, maximising freediving and photography time. My favourite place to dive is still the kelp forest on a sunny day, with just my breath and natural light as illumination. I love the challenge and drama of it. I'm a certified scuba diver too, and I spent many years as a scientific diver, monitoring marine life in a conservation role. I recently found the WaterPixels community and am here to share my knowledge of marine life and photography, and learn from other members πŸ€—
