Lens choice / other tips for Maldives live aboard
Will be visiting Maldives for the first time. Emperor Virgo liveaboard. I am shooting a Canon 70d in Ikelite stuff. I wont be able to take every single lens and port I own, so I want to make an informed decision which ones to take. For Wide Angle I have both a compact port and large port, with either 10-22mm or the 10-17 tokina. I am not really expecting any over unders so i am thinking just to take the smaller dome (5 inch precision dome). I am guessing the tokina is best (I used it for blue sharks in the azores as well on the longer end) . I really have some doubts about taking a macro lens as well because of currents mentioned, and the chance that something big pops up when I am at 1:1 Same about strobes : wont be any use on the larger subjects, but on the blue sharks, i did use them as a fill light which worked ok. The end of Light & Motion
that is too bad. My Sola 500 died after being dropped. I since then have replaced it with a Sola photo 800, which has been going strong the last 9 years. Because other batteries have died on me before, there is a reminder in my diary to freshen up batteries every 6 weeks.

How to bookmark/save a thread or post?
unfortunately, that does not work as rxpected. I bookmarked a thread about the DIY lanyard / hand strap, and when revisiting the bookmark, it was a a different thread.

Scammers: Please Report!
I dont know him, but in this case I would take a little bit more care before calling anybody a scammer. Language might be a barrier here, and also, the conversation in blue is also quite blunt. If I would get that as a genuine seller i would give 'the finger' as well.

intro Cerianthus
Hi, I picked the same nick as on wetpixel. I see there are at least some that stuck with their names.... I am a 50+ diver in the Netherlands. I dive mostly locally and in the past have really enjoyed diving around Scotland. Every couple years I can escape to destinations a bit further away. I'm using what most would call budget equipment, a canon 70D in ikelite stuff. Gerard
