  1. Bienvenido Marc!! Un cordial saludo desde Gandía!!
  2. Hola JR, bienvenido al foro. Ya que este hilo es para las presentaciones, quizás puedes abrir un hilo en el apartado correspondiente con tus dudas. Un cordial saludo!!!
  3. A bit extreme, but I don't discard It completely...
  4. Thank you for your response. Unfortunatelly I did the battery test you mention, with no results. The batterys are ok, and the Mf-1 keeps the same. I thank your interest, but I think I'll wait until been back to Spain to send the unit for service. Luckily I have with me my WA strobes, not so handy as the Mf-1s for macro but usable. Thank you again and Best Regards.
  5. Thank You María, they already contacted me, and I am sure the'll do their best. Best Regards.
  6. By the way, I want to thank everyone who offered to lend me a strobe here in Bali or even from Europe. Luckily, I have other strobes with me so I can continue enjoying photography on my vacation. Thanks to everyone, and best regards.
  7. Oh yes, David, of course, I was just agreeing with your statement. I had just been trying to get the flash working for the umpteenth time, with the same results; you can imagine my frustration. I was simply reiterating what you had written. Best regards.
  8. Hello David, Unfortunatelly I think that upgrading to an Mf-2 is my only option. Thank you anyway.
  9. I have about ten 18650 with me for this trip. Tried with five of them, same behaviour. All batterys are fully charged, so not a battery issue. I'm afraid I'll have to send It to service. Thanks for the suggest. Best Regards.
  10. Thank you so much for the offer. Fortunatelly I also have with me a couple of Inon Z330 intended for my WA dives. I am more used to the Mf-1s to macro, but today the 330s have got me out of trouble. I still prefer the Mf-1s for macro due to the size, but the 330s do the job. Best Regards.
  11. Well it's Murphy's law Just arrived to Bali for 1 month of underwater photography, mainly macro, and one of my two MF-1 seemingly died. Blue light blinking, a few seconds later red light blinking, then starts to flash erratically. Never a problem with those strobes, no idea what could go wrong. Any help?? Thanks in advance.
  12. Thank you bghazzal, Yes, mostly interested in stills, but the video threads are interesting too. Best Regards.
  13. Thank you Chris, still digesting all the information contained in the wp thread. Specially interesting the link to Interceptor's article.
  14. Hi Robin, My routine is the following: 1- rinse-submerge the gear in clear tap water 2- rinse the gear with de-mineralized water, specially ports (glass), viewfinder and levers/buttons (plastic water bottle with a tiny hole in the cap, squeeze the bottle and you have a jet of pressurized water) 3- inmediately, dry glass and viewfinder with microfiber towel 4- remove excess water from the gear with remaining air in my dive thank, using an Air pistol attached to my lpi hose 5- final drying of the gear with a microfiber towel. My key steps are de-mineralized water in the glass and drying It with microfiber towel. Since I follow this routine, no more water stains in housing or ports. Cheers.
  15. Never used them, and wondering if they're worth a try. I'll appreciate if any of you guys could share some experiences with them. I would set it in my wide angle setup (Fujifilm 16-50 f2.8-4.8 + Nauticam MWL-1) for the availabe light dives, adding blue filters to the Z330s in case I need to fire the flash. By the way, the Fuji 16-50 (58mm filter size) lacks of rear filter holder, and the gap between the lens and the port glass doesn't allow for a screewed frontal filter. Thanks in advance.
