  1. Hello, I thought this was sold a while ago. I was wrong, buyer never sent payment. I am making it available again. Below is what is available. Olympus Pen 10 Black Camera body 14 - 42mm 3.5 lens 2 batteries and charger with cord Backscatter Octo Housing for Olympus Pen 9 and 10 cameras Flat port for 14 - 42 lens Zoom ring for 14 - 42 lens Vacuum pump Screen hood Extra housing O-ring 2 different size shutter releases Charging cord for flash trigger/vacuum system Lanyard Silicone grease with other o-rings AOI Dual arm camera tray AOI Flip adaptor AOI Flip Hardware and case AOI UCL - 09 Pro Close Up Lens Everything above is like new. I have a Lowepro rolling Carry-on size case available. I use several systems now. This Backscatter Octo system gets zero use because I use a Hasselblad 903SWC in a Gates H38 housing w/digital back, for Med Format. A Nauticam 5DM4 system for FF and a Nauticam Sony Alpha 6600 system for APS-C. I don't need this system. I have to many things not getting enough use already. Make offers. This is over a $2300 value. I am hoping for half of that. I will sell in pieces. Let me know if you have any interest. I do like this flip system quite a bit. It works similar to the old Backscatter Macro-mate. I prefer it over the quick release bayonet style mounts. Thanks for Looking. Dmanfish@Comcast.net
  2. This is like new. Never been in salt water. Only tested in the pool. *Octo Housing for Olympus EPL 10, by Backscatter. Comes with standard port for 14-42 f/3.5 lens, zoom gear, monitor shade, housing cap, dual strobe tray, flash trigger with charging cord, moisture detector, vacuum valve with sensor and vacuum pump, O-rings and lots of accessories. * AOi/Octo Backscatter UCL-09 +12.5 close up lens in case. *AOi M67 macro flip device with mounting tool. *AOi Backscatter M52 x .05 Super Wide wet lens with M67 adapter, Dome cover rear port cover and proprietary case. * Olympus EPL 10 camera body. * Olympus 14-42 zoom lens. * 2 new Olympus batteries with charger. Rolling Lowepro carry on case that comes with removeable padded insert case with extra room for strobes and hardware. Costs were: AOi Octo housing by Backscatter for Olympus EPL 10 with AOi accessories. $699 AOi M67 Macro Flip adapter for M^& threaded port $215 AOi UCL-09 +12.5 close up lens in soft case. $420 AOi Backscatter M52 Underwater 120 degree wide angle lens $449 Backscatter Wide Double handle and tray for small mirrorless systems $79 Olympus EPL 10 camera & 14-42 zoom lens (to use w/both wet lenses)$699 Extra OEM Battery $40 Lowepro Rolling Insulated Carry on camera case $199. Not counting extra small accessories value $2800. Asking Best Offer over $1000. Almost 1/3 of replacement cost, Great value. I also have an SD card to include. All you need is a strobe and you are complete. After lugging giant camera cases with me for almost 40 years I was hoping to love this system and carry only 1 small case. This system is great for someone that wants to use the 3" camera screen as a viewfinder. My eyes and brain are stubborn and will always rely on an optical viewfinder with a diopter to adjust for my eyes. Not a camera screen. This is a great deal for someone.
  3. Also, my reason for staying with the Nauticam w/Fisheye and macro ports for my 15mm, 16-35 and macro Sony 90 and Canon 100L lenses are because I travel alot while diving. For example from July 1, 2024 - Aug 7, 2024 I went from the USA to Bangkok to Koh Chang to Koh Tao to Koh Samui to Bangkok to Bohol,Phils to Bangkok to Siem Reap, Cambodia to Hochi Minh City, Vietnam to Thailand to the US. Big and heavy systems are heavy and expensive to schlep all over.
  4. If anyone can explain why an under/over shooter like me would switch to the Nauticam WACP or WWL lenses do tell. Thank you.
  5. I discovered this site through Wetpixel when it seemed the activity had diminished substantially on the other pixel site. However the community is a good one with diverse and helpful opinions. I was recently diving again with friends in Thailand and one friend is a Brit I met 10-15 years ago while he was working as an instructor and photo pro in the Philippines, said this was an active site with many forums. He had good things to say about Waterpixels, so here I am. I've been diving since I was 10, over 40 years. Currently just over 8400 dives. It started one day when the fire station said they could no longer fill my tank unless I got certified. I went from YMCA to CMAS to NAUI to PADI to IANTD to TDI to SSI and many others over the years. I started photographing underwater in the early 80's with a Hanimex, to a Motormarine, to the Nikonos 3, to the Nikonos 5, to the Nikonos RS, and to housings by Tussey, to Nexus Athis, to several Subal, Sea and Sea, Gates, Seacam and lately mostly Nauticam housings. There were others but not for long. I still prefer a housed lens and ports for macro and wide. I am not a fan of the new high quality wet lenses compared to the old school method. I like the results but I am what I am. Anyway that's me.
