Aquatica A70 Housing for the D70

  1. I had my new A70 Aqautica Housing in the water this weekend for the first time. I have to say this was a great decision. It is compact and easy to handle. All of the controls are precision and align great with the camera. They all move and feel very solid and are very easy to operate. They are very user friendly as well. This housing is the one to get in my oppinion. I also have a Sea & Sea NX90Z and this housing compares in size. It is smaller than the D100 Housing.

This in my oppinion is a great bang for your buck! Im glad I chose the Aqautica for my D70S!

    Cheers,

    Chuck

  2. I Agree

I tested one of these a few weeks ago on Guam. I am very pleased to see that Aquatica went back to the old handle design because the screws on the S2/D100 ALWAYS seem to loosen up and there were so few threads I dared not try to over tighten them.

One thing I would miss would be the lack of a AF mode control. I use this often when shooting macro and even wide angle every so often.

  3. Tis a great housing isn't it...
