Congrats to David Harasti & Alex Mustard

Congrats Alex! You are the first 3rd prize mentioned.

And I believe David Harasti is also a member and in the 3rd prize category.

Cheers

Congrats Alex!

I would have picked Alex's shot and the one with the sunburst over the first and second prize winners. Getting two lined up like first prize winner is great but to me it looks so obvious that the poor critters were really bothered by the camera that it made the photo not very pleasing.

Congratulations Alex! Project Seahorse is a worthwhile cause.

Cheers

James

Congrats Alex

I also know the grand prize winner. I used to work with him in Palau, these days he is the photo pro on the Mike Ball boat in PNG or one of the ones in Cairns...

I call him Krusty...congrats to you too Sammy

Beautiful image Alex - well done!

What a great collection of images of a wonderful creature...

Congrats Alex and Dave - excellent pics.

Congratulations Dave and Alex. Great shots.

alex shot was the most creative, and unique of the bunch. Should have been first

everyone knows i am friends with alex ... but i also tell it how it is ...

... it's a shame how the results came out in this competition ... i dont like seeing the same style photos i have seen before wining competitions .. get some new judges. Not saying Alex's should have won ... but boring selection in general. (maybe i am just jealous i dont get to see too many seahorses)

And congrats too for getting a pic on the BBC website today as an award winner!!

Well done Alex.

We can also add Stewart Sy (ScubaStu) to the list of Wetpixelers with an HM

What a good board of photogs we have here...

Congrats.

For sure Alex's shot is more creative and unusual then most shots there, well done!

Thanks guys. I have only just seen this thread.

Despite this news coming in rather a good week for me, with much more important wins, I am actually very chuffed. I reckon it is a pretty good effort to have the best pink H. bargibanti image in a competition like this. There must have been a lot of pink bargibantis in the mix.

I really like Dave's shot.

Alex

p.s. hey I have just been 2 the webpage and my picture has been rotated!

That 10.5mm lens really does wonders

Only joking...
