CompactFlash for Coolpix 990

Hello Guyz,

has anyone tested CompactFlash-Cards

with 256MB or 512MB Capacity for the

Coolpix 990? I would love to get a

comment on this. For example is the

storage time the same or is the battery

influence by higher capacity etc. ...

We are currently using Kingston 128MB

an it works fine.

I used to have a 990 and now I have 995. I just added a Lexar 256 12x to my system. I also have a lexar 160 8x. From watching them write, I see no difference in speed. The capacity is great though.

I uhave been using the 256mb 16x card in my CP990 for about 25 dives now. Very happy with the capacity. I can shoot preliminary jpegs, then go for the tiff.
