Worm from Bermuda

  1. Hello, doing this for a friend, he shot this 6 inches worm on a night dive in Bermuda, anybody know's the species or name of the bugger.

  2. It's a polychaete, family Eunicidae, which is very close to swimming up into the water to spawn. The dark color in the middle & rear of the worm comes from the body being packed full of eggs or sperm. Unfortunately I can't id it any better from this image.
