What is that?

    Do anyone know what are the fishes and also what is it sitting on?

  2. I dunno the species, but you quite often get these blennies sitting on bryozoans and weeds growing on the mooring lines above divesites in the Indian Ocean/SE Asia.

  3. That is a Variable Fangblenny, Petroscirtes variabilis. They are the type of blenny that likes to take a bite out of passing fish.

     

    And as Alex says quite common on mooring lines around here.

     

    Not sure about the stuff they are sitting in.

  4. The blennies are living in a bryozoan. Identification of bryos depends on microscopic features so it would take a specialist and a specimen to get a name for it.
