Battery question.??

Hi,

Just a quick question... Does a canon 300D take the same battery as a 350D and does anybody know the model number.. I'm off to Jessops to get one for a mate and i cannot get hold of his camera..Jessops said they have their own brand for about £25...

Hi Dean, the 350D uses a Lithium-Ion NB-2LH, while the 300D uses a Li-ion BP-511 or BP-512, so no, they don't use the same battery. I wouldn't buy generic batteries, as they usually have a much shorter life than the more expensive brands.
