  1. Ok ,not a new topic but has anyone any ideas ,i have a sea n sea dx90 that iwant to use as a slave ,i tried it with a 550ex in a housing and it was great but too negative and messed with all the weighting of the housing uw.

so my next thought was using a c 'n' c 55 e-ttl strobe as a ttl trigger to use my 90dx as a slave and the 55 as a fill in on macro.

any ideas , has anyone found a decent working soloution ,i didn't need ttl until i borrowed someones canon 550ex in a housing, now i am hooked for macro creeping up on stuff ,no messing about as you get closer.

  2. Jez,

try to test the Mathias converter, he made a circuit that converts the e-ttl II to nikonos ttl. so you will can use your Ys90.

I have no experience with them, but have heard good things. You will need some ability soldering and some additional connectors and appropriate bulkhead. Hope this helps.
