Substrobe versus strobe

3 posts

  1. I've noticed some strobes listed as just strobes while others are called substrobes. Can anyone break this down for me?

  2. Ikelite refers to their line of underwater strobes as "substrobes".

You may also run across the term "flashgun" when referring to underwater strobes from Europe.

  3. Muchas Gracias!
