  1. Hi All,

Just got back from the Cove... It was -6oc when i left my house this morning but warmed up to a lovely -1 when i got to the quarry. It was a blessing to get in the water as it was around 13oc with 10 - 15M viz.. There were massive amounts of fish, juvenile and fully grown..Pike, Perch, carp and the crayfish were everywhere.. Fantastic.!!!

Anyone who is going tomorrow get there early and go straight off the bus stop and go left towards the new shop past the armoured personnel carrier. We saw at least 5 large pike, hovering looking at the baby fish.

I will get my photo's sorted tomorrow and if they come up trumps I'll post some soon..

  2. Well it was -4 when we arrived this morning so kitting up was a little chilly. Water was warmer than the air tho so very nice to finally drop in. The place was relatively quiet so not too busy. Didn't see too many cameras around tho which was a surprise.

Look forward to seeing your photos Dean as we didn't see any Pike today.

Never mind, here's one from Last Aug bank holiday a little blown out on the snout unfortunately.

Not as good as your pike shot but they will do. My buddy was using a housed camera, a canon Eos500n his first attempt as well so we will wait and see.???
