  1. Looks like a good one for the heart rate!

  2. Lucky guy!

I've been there last Sept. Two dives. Allways looking to the blue... No sharks. :)

Some guys have it all... :(

  3. Nice! To me, this is the most beautiful shark, but I've never seen one... :)

  4. I think they're beautiful too!

Seeing them at Elphinstone seemed a sure thing. I did three trips and saw them every time. Actually I caught a glipse of them last time I visited Egypt/Elphinstone as well - so that's four dives in a row.

I'm disappointed with that photo my buddy took of me and the shark. I remember the shark as being MUCH BIGGER and a little bit closer.

  5. Nice how the white tips show up in the distance shots. Cool shots from Sweden on your homepage! :)

    Happy Thanksgiving

    Tom

  6. Had some close encounter with this shark as well resently in Egypt, at The Brother Islands and Daedalus reef. Did also see Thrasher sharks, and gray reef shark. As soon it got dark they there hunting in the light from the boat. This was one of the reasons we wasn't allowed night dives, second was strong currents.

Photos taken from the dive deck.

They didn't get so close at day to get a picture of them.

  7. I was there on september.

We made 2 dives at elphinstone , and it was crowded of shark.

A lot of them was 2-3 meters deep and during the safety stop they come very very close.

Unfortunatly the day before I put a silka gel packet in the wrong place in my camera housing and it leeks , so for security reason at eplhinston I had only the empty housing so no photo.

Even if a little of water leaked inside I was lucky and my Canon resuscitated after a little shock.

Fortunately a friend of mine was able to take one photo (It was the second time he tooks the camera underwater).
