Which camera are we discussing? And which lens?
Lens inon AD UWL105 camera Canon a95
I have fitted a magic filter to a Canon A95. The filter available for the Nikkor 16mm is the right size to fit over the front of the A95 camera lens.
If you are using the Inon AD105 lens I guess you are probably using your A95 in a Canon housing as I am. There is therefore enough space inside the housing to fit this filter.
I have only tried this filter out in a green UK freshwater quarry which is not really where it is designed to work properly. I tried it out using the AD165 lens. I used a couple of tiny pieces of sellotape to stick the filter on the front of the camera lens. This made it easy to fit and remove.
That is the funny thing about wetpixel, however obscure your question there is usually someone out there who has already tried it!

Thank you very much for replay.
So you fit the filter inside the housing can you give me more details?
Can you tell me if the filter stay in place by itself?
It's needed some cut on the MN16 Nikon 16mm?
It's difficult to remove?
Do you think think it worth the money?

I used it inside my Canon housing for the S50, we cut the filter according to the inner side of the port and push it there.
Can you tell me if the filter stay in place by itself?
Yes
It's difficult to remove?
No problem
Do you think think it worth the money?
Big yes ![]()
We used it also with the Inon 105 AD, it is really give you more options of shooting especially for WA use.
You can see some pictures that my wife and I took last weekend in the Magic around the world thread in the photos forum.
The magic filter available for the Nikkor 16mm lens is a thin round piece of polyester. It is a little smaller in size than the diameter of the Canon A95 lens so the filter does not have to be cut to fit.
I used two tiny pieces of tape on either edge of the filter to stick it to the little bit of the front of the camera lens that is not covered by the filter. With a small scalple I trimmed off any excess tape. I am happy that I have not ruined the filter by doing this. The fit seemed quite secure and it was easy to remove to use again. This seemed a better solution to me than trying to attatch it to the inside of the housing port.
