I want to go for about a week to a great dive resort over Christmas but it seems that the prices are through the roof. Does anyone have an idea for a great deal on an awesome dive resort for the last week in December?

Hi Tov, i might suggest you tell us where you are based and what area you are interested in going to. Also, what sort of budget you may have. If you only have a week and are based in the US, the Caribbean would probably be best, Europe and i would suggest Red Sea or Maldives, Asia or Oz and i would suggest either Micronesia or Indonesia.

I'm in the US, so I am looking for a diver resort in the Caribbean. A couple of thousend would be ok.

Have you checked Bonaire? The diving is great there, and the prices are not very high, although I don't know if they go up during the holidays.

Given the recent hurricane in Cozumel, you could likely find a nice deal down there. The diving is always good in Coz.
Warning.... many of the airlines are reducing flights to Coz. Make air reservations with care.
