Roatan Dive/Travel Destination

My dive club is considering a trip to Roatan, staying at the Inn of Last Resort. Any reports on this dive destination? Also, I need to respond a members concern about crime, so any comments in this area would be appreciated. Of course, we would plan to exercise caution, but the club does not want to expose members to danger. Thanks.

I have stayed at IOLR and found it all in all a good experience. The rooms are comfortable, food is not terribly exciting but decent and plenty; and the dive op is competent. Liked the dive guide we had. We were lucky and were the only people diving at IOLR for the week. A few interesting dive sites (i.e., spooky channel is really spooky) although at the time we were there, fish life at some of the sites did seem a bit "fished out." Plenty of good macro and at one point, hammerhead sharks.
