So I just received my new housing and strobe. I have been exploring the functionality and have been very pleased with Ikelite's attention to detail with the accessability of ALL controls on the camera.
When I was playing with the camera and strobe (using the sync cord to housing and hot shoe) I found that at one point I was not getting the pre-flash on the DS-125 and the camera wasn't picking up the flash (all pics dark) - I shut everything down and re-connected the cord and re-set the camera in the housing. When I turned it all back on it was working perfectly. Just curious as I am new to this type of setup if there is something to be careful of when setting up the camera and ensuring the strobe and camera talk to eachother properly. I know that I cannot go TTL with this camera and will be sure to use only the manual mode on the strobe.
Any feedback on using this camera and setup would be greatly appreciated.
