I just got back from my trip and haven't gotten all of the good shots online yet, but I just couldn't resist letting one sneak out.

    Cheers

    James

  2. Just think how sharp & colourful that would have been with an SD9!!!!!

  3. I'd like to point out the blue dish gloves that I'm diving with. Sitech dry gloves ROCK. All of the photos from my camera can be found at:

  4. Beautiful shots Eric! Especially the first one. I think that should shed some light on that discussion we had earlier on the difference between a DSLR and a consumer camera.

James. Why were you just looking and not shooting!

  5. Hang in there Herb, I've got plenty more to come! I was travelling back home to Houston yesterday whilst Eric was prepping his photos, so he has about a day on me.

Oh, and that expression above on my face is "Are you getting this Eric!" That one juvenile female was just laying there on the bottom like "C'mon, scratch my belly!"

Here's a total "grab shot" that I got on the first dive, at the Keyhole on North Island:

  6. Love the shots James!

Count me in the next time you guys plan some cold water diving but, I am not as brave as you to still dive in a wetsuit.

Drysuit my friend. You have the camera now get some warmer gear.

ps a group trip to Port Hardy British Columbia. Unbelievable photo ops. Humpback, Dolphins by the hundreds, Orcas, Sea lions and amazing macro colours.

  7. "Great Teeth Eric!"

  8. doh!

looks like I lost my diffuser. i was wondering how it ended up back on the boat. i guess it fell off before I went down.
