D200 banding problem

Apparently some of the new D200's have a banding problem, banding present at high magnification of the image and in and near overexposed areas in the photos. According to one thread on DPreviews, nikon is aware of this problem, it is in a "few" of the new D200s, nikon has a fix, new motherboard and firmware update. This may explain why more of the cameras haven't surfaced at dealers since the initial debut on 12/15/05

Anyone with this problem??

Is well know this and relly a pain becauce is bigger that the normal banding problem that digital cameras have in high isos or dark photos
