Multiple video forums?

Is it about time to break video out into sub-forums? It looks like we're getting enough traffic...

Naw, so far traffic is still lite enough that 1 forum is fine. At least to me.

As a video pro that does not let my day job have anything to do with my hobby, I read all of the posts, and add to them when I can.

Spreading it out might make it seem like "work".

I for one would like to see a little more focus in forums so I can quickly see if new topics relevant to areas of current interst have been posted. I can imagine sections:

-Gear/Equipment

-Shooting Techniques and Tips

-Caputure and Editing (Specific to UW issues)

-Gallery/Clips

-HD hot topics (optional)

Thanks Eric for following up on this. Hopefully there is a good option that most people will agree with for creating a little more organization to the video forum.

Forums only really need to be broken up when the traffic gets to the point that many topics are being created and responded too daily.

The last post on the first page of the DV section was last updated December 26th.

I think breaking the forum up will just make it that much more difficult to keep track of topics and threads.

I vote to keep it the way it is. There are normally no more than 5 topics updated each day, and it's nice to have them all in one spot.

I agree. There isn't enough traffic to justify breaking up the video forum. I can usually read all I need to in 2 to 5 minutes.

I'm easy. What evers good for all.

I like the idea of sub forums for video. In fact, it would be nice to have a site dedicated to U/W videography.

How about a "Put me up please" thread, a kind of house call thread..For those friendly folk who want to help out on travel costs for our wetpixler friends.. Instead of fancy hotels it could be a come and stay with me for a week buddy, sort of thing. I'm willing. As long as you don't mind U.K diving.
