Comores

Here are some uw pictures of our trip to the Comores before Christmas ...

All with 20D and Subal housing, Sea and Sea strobes ( manual)

I like the Crab Picture and the Moray Shot where you see the teeth.

Some others looks a little overedited (Cleaned Particles in on part and not cleand near the divers etc.)

If I had to guess it looks like most of the wide angle shots came out very very dark and you cranked down the stops in raw or edited in PS to save them. The digital noise in the blacks and some funny things I like the divers right hand in the sponge pic make me think this. or what I think is noise is just a lot of crap in the water.

If these are close to off the card shots then I would check the ASA number used and open up a stop to a stop and a half on a lot of them to get a blue background. Adjust the strobes to get a more balanced natural light look.

Composition was very good overall, a few technical changes should give you some really good stuff next dive.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, there was a helluva lot of backscatter on some of the dives - and I made a bit of a mess editing it out!
