  2. hey Gary,

Nice pose - would've like to see it lit a bit more evenly, or maybe even from a lower perspective and lit from the base .

Still - it was a good days work.

    Cheers

  3. I like the composition, and although the texture of the little guy is all there and sharp it is the left part of the shell that is a little hot, this is what I believe Peter was pointing out. Looks like there is some nice color on the shell we are missing. The brightest spot in any pictue is where your eye goes to first. Try using the burn tool on the shell and see what happens or magic lasso around the crap then inverse and adjust the shell some. A darker background may make this pic really pop. It it is even possible next time take another a little darker bigger f stop.

I say all this being really picky this is a great picture - lots of personality - I really like it.

  4. Thanks Peter & Stephen, I see your points, will have a go at what you suggested Stephen.

Couldn't get any lower with the camera it was sitting in the sand as it was. moving 1 f stop up and I lost some detail in the crab but the shell was ok, should have played with the strobe angle a bit more.

Thanks for the comments, always learn heaps on here.

    Regards
