Ike 5050 housing

Ike's site now lists a housing for the Oly 5050 to be available sometime around January. It mentions that flash use will be available using either a slave sensor or a synch cord through the bulkhead. Is this an accommodation for the new manual controller? How doess the strobe connector on the C-5050 work? Anyone?

The strobe connector on the C5050Z is via hotshoe.

Yeah, I think I've figured it out now. Olympus advertises a dongle that converts the hotshoe into a PC connector. Ike must either use it or do something similar. Would give you manual strobe capability . . .
