Inon 220 or 2000 which should I get?

  1. I have got a chance to pick up two Inon 220fs. Should I buy them or the new 2000?

    Use will be macro only.

I have always admired the 220s and with my current strobe set up I am limited on larger apertures cos one of the pair is an old SnS 90 duo with only 1 and .5 settings.

    any opinions appreciated

  2. Never used the 220f, but I've got a pair of the new D2000w. They work great for macro and fish portrait.

  3. I second matt

I'm going to go with 2x Inon 2000w when i get the chance ( I think)

the new Sea & Sea 110 looks good as well, 10 steps of control so they say and ITTL compatible , with a converter of course.

    regards

  4. This has been an education - after some thinking last night I decided that I had posted in haste and was asking the wrong the question, I should have been asking if anyone knew when the replacement for z220 would be available.

BUT I never knew there was a SnS 110 coming out, and its smaller than the 90. so that looks like the answer for me. This has been a good thread for me, cheers Craig, you just saved me about 600 USD!!

    All the best
