  1. That shot was taken at Ras Zahatar, near Sharem A Sheikh, Sinai

I know, If I added a diver at the left it was better :)

  2. Quick advice I am diving in 1 hour...

Ras Zatar is lovely wall, and one of the best remaining in the Ras Mohamed area, lots of nooks and crannies with impressive commuities of sweepers. BTW it's Sharm el Sheikh.

If you are going to take a picture of a "GORGONIAN" then that should really dominate the frame, and no need to cause the unbalance by leaving so much blue to the left - adding a diver would not have helped.

Including the part of the wall where the trunk of the gorgonian is attached would have given this picture the edge. Did you light it from the top or bottom - I notice a burn-out in the bottom edge of the fan... Always light from the top or it looks unnatural and strange.

Gorgonian are wonderful subjects and practice makes perfect... keep an eye open for the longnosed hawkfish!!!

There is a huge amount of red been added into the image - Red Sea female anthias (goldfish) are yellow/orange!!!

I took the liberty of a quick remix and crop, and added an example of how a gorgonian with little else can create an optical conclusion...

    Cheers, Bob

    Hope that's ok
