Saw this on AOL - Amazingly huge Bait Ball video and sharks shot from a helicopter in Austrailia forcing a closing of the beach. The bait ball is just massive. Is this what the Sardine run is like?
This sort of thing happens every year on the east coast, although it varies as to location. You certainly couldn't set up a vacation/trip around it coz you wouldn't know where/when it was going to happen. The sharks are only pretty small. I saw images on the TV the other night of people on jet skis and other very small craft, reaching into the water and pulling sharks out of the water by the tail!
Hooroo my friends,
Bruce
Similar, but the sharks are bigger and you get cetaceans involved along with bigger fish like tuna and GTs. And of course the birds.
Over in Western Australia, you also get baitball action but the coast is too rugged to base camp and the hits are random.
