Other than the assignable button and the XLR audio, is anyone aware of any further differences between the two camcorders?-Steve

I think this chart has all the detail you'll ever need
BTW my choice for the A1 was almost exclusively based on the manual assign for WB. I'm not a sound recording guru but I've evidently paid extra for additional audio features I may never need. So it goes. Maybe I'll find I love the XLR stuff as well later....
