min lag time & underwater case?

  1. Any ideas on the best compact digital with good manual controls, for kayaking and adventure trips.

     

    Main selection criteria are:

    1. minimal shutter lag time for capturing action shots

    2. option of an underwater case for use whilst sea kayaking.
