Magic filter with strobe

3 posts
  1. Last weekend I tried for first time my new Nikon 10.5 fisheye lens with and without the Magic.

Since I didn't removed the strobe I tried to use the filter with it in few frames (hopes Alex will forgive me for using it against the rules)

This frame was shot from deep of 24 meters. The only processing was decrease a little the contrast in the red channel.

  2. I guess the question is. what would the image look like without the Magic filter?

  3. Interesting...it isn't as "redded out" as I would have expected. Is it possible that you were far enough away (although with a 10.5FE you couldn't have been very far) that some of the red from your strobe was absorbed by the water, so it still illuminated the wreck without the Magic Filter making it look too red?
