Inon, Ikelite, and G2

  1. Now that I have my G2 and ikelite in my hands (yes I love it );)...

Question about the inon w/a. I had read a post somewhere, but for the life of me I can't find it, that indicated the w/a adpaters weren't all that great because you would essentially have to zoom out to almost full telephoto to avoid vigenetting from the lens. The result was that with the inon lens and the tele zoomed out, you didn't gain all that much more w/a.

Doesn't seem to match with the pics I saw on Ikes website, but I though I would check b4 I bought.

    Thanks

    Bob

  2. That information only applies to the use of standard (IOW, for the MMII) Sea and Sea lenses with their adaptor. The adaptor screws into the port of the Ike housing and allows you to connect standard Sea and Sea lenses. Because the hole in the middle of the adaptor is small (i.e., MMII-sized), the lens must be zoomed all the way out or you get vignetting. This does not apply to the INON UWL-100 or the Sea and Sea lens made specifically for the U/W housings.
