Sigma 18-50/2.8 / Ike 5503.50?

    According to the specs the Sigma 18-50/2.8 EX might just fit behind the Ikelite #5503.50 dome - the max lens length for the dome is 101mm and the Sigma is fully extended 101.5mm (according to the specs). Since the lens is internally focusing you wouldn't have to worry about the front of the lens carving the dome, you'd just lose some range at the tele end. Anybody tried this?

     

    Anybody seen the specs for the upcoming Tamron 17-50/2.8 or the Tokina 16-50/2.8?

     

    I just got the 5503.50 for the 10-22 and it would be nice to ditch the 5503 and the Canon kit lens and carry just one dome.
