Casio Ex-Z750 housing w/ external flash

  1. I have a Casio Ex-Z750 7.2 Mega pixel camera with 2GB ExtremeIII SD card.

I would like to ask if anyone knew of a company that makes an underwater housing for my camera w/ a external flash?

  2. Welcome to Wetpixel!

At the moment, there is no housing available for that camera. You can send it to Ikelite to have a custom housing made, but that would be expensive and would take time.

My advice is to put the camera up on eBay and get something else.

  3. But i love my Camera.

I can always purchase another uw camera.

if they can make a uw housing for older casio why not the most popular model?

  4. You are right that Casio had some housings for a few older models. My guess is that since the 750 has been available for the better part of a year, a housing is not coming.

There may be one option. Frank Fennell, the former head of underwater imaging at Nikon now has his own company. The Proteus housing will be designed to accept cameras from different brands. It has a built-in dome port, which is really nice. Controls will be accessible by using the camera's USB port. The downside is that in order to keep the housing simple, it won't have many controls.

  5. it now appears the casio japan will be releasing a housing for EX-z750 in late August.

i sent casio japan a inquiry and they replied that they are working on a housing for the Ex-z750.

    good news for me.

Bad news is that i am going on a killer trip this weekend and i dont have a camera to document my trip.

  6. Make sure to ask Casio if the housing will be able to take a wide angle lens. Inon makes mounts for the more popular housings, but don't count on one for the Casio housings.

For next week, why not just buy something cheap on eBay? Or rent a camera?

  7. good idea...
