Nudibranch ID Sao Tome

  1. Hi folks

     

    I know there are hundreds of undescribed flabellinids/facelinids etc., but maybe somebody knows the genus of this one ?

     

    rocky intertidal, Sao Tome, size: 1 cm

    Sorry I missed this post somehow. This beauty reminds me of a Spurilla. Have a look at this post:

    Some Sprillas appear to survive in ship's ballast, and spread around the planet.

    This is from another location than yours, so the exact species is a mystery.

    ironically I know this genus ;)

     

    looks indeed like a Spurilla sp., and the picture you linked me to was from Malta, so it is the same geographic region in a broad sense (E Atlantic)

     

    so thanks ! any ideas about the boring grey-warty one, dorid type (see my other message) ?
