Clathrina canariensis??

  1. Any ideas on this one - looks like a calcaerous sponge, but not close to any of the pics I could find on the web. Taken in Puerto Galera

  2. They appear to be a Didemnid sp. of tunicate. Sorry, I can't be specific.

Your image looks very similar to one identified as Didemnum cf. moseleyi on www.edge-of-reef.com (go to the "lab" and then to sea squirts to find it; the matching image is the last one on the D. cf moseleyi page). Please note that the people at Edge of Reef are uncertain about t he identification. Tunicates are pretty hard to id, especially the colonial ones like this.
