Juvenile Yellow Wrasse?

  1. These are quite small (taken with 100mm macro), less than an inch long. There were a group of 6 or so. Thought they could be Halochoeres chrysus? Taken in Puerto Galera

  2. WE get lots of little similar fellas, i think they are Coris (a member of the wrasse family) but not sure which one

    Def wrasses though

  3. It is not a Coris sp. Definately Halochoeres.

Halichoeres chysus is probably the best ID. But it is hard to be 100% because as Mike said, there are several species in the genus that look like that as juviniles.
