colman pygmy ???

this bwas taken in indo, lembeh. i think it is a colman pygmy seahorse. it was only at max 5 mm long. am i right and does anyone know the latin name. cheers

You're lucky to get that shot. There was a nice population of them at a particular spot in PNG. Unfortunately, the DM's, in their attempt to satisfy the "paying public" kept plowing through the algae beds where they resided to show them off. The end result was that the habitat was destroyed and the seahorses gone. Too bad. To entertain a few, they were sacrificed. Now I go back and just see algae rubble.
