we collected this nice little guy under stones partly embedded in sand with rubble in Sao Tome, W Africa
did anybody see something similar in the Caribbean Sea ??? if yes, where ?
there is actually is closely related species, Alpheus hortensis, described from Flower Garden Bank off Texas, that we are searching for (for morphology and DNA studies)
