Looks like you guys had a great trip. It sounds like you had a few of the really big players that didn't show for our trip.
Must admit I got that 'bait' feeling at Mt Mokarran when the tigers were getting a bit frisky and I turned round to find I was the only one left in the water!
I look forward to the rest of your pictures.
OK, I finished posting the best of my photos from this trip on my website:
My wife was particularly "impressed" with this series: ![]()

BTW, I'm still waiting for James to post his amazing shot with the moray, reef shark and boat above! If I'd taken that, I'd already be arranging for a framed 20-inch print to hang on my wall! B)
Wow, that's awesome Bruce! A tiger shark "gullet shot!" I bet that was a very exciting sequence to shoot.
They sure do look funny when they stick their "nose" up like that though, don't they? Sort of like a mupped or a platypus?!?!?!
OK, I'm off to take a look at the rest of your photos now. I'll go dig up the reef shark photo too.
Cheers
James
Wow! That's quite a sequence.

Some excellent shots on your site Bruce. The Tiger and Cobia is a sure winner.
The Tiger and Cobia is a sure winner.
That was the shot that drew my eye as well.
Since when is Eric shooting video? <_>

I have a pass of the shark with cobia, but I wasn't quite as close as Bruce was. I saw both Bruce and Paul get perfect passes, so it's not surprising that they have really nice photos of it.
It was funny: when Kate (the tiger shark with the cobia) was around, people virtually ignored all of the other sharks around -- even the big tigers that were literally right in front of us. ![]()
Killer shots Bruce - I gotta go next time.
Thanks, everyone, for all the kind comments. ![]()
As Eric said, Kate (the tiger shark with the cobia) really grabbed everyone's attention. The cobia themselves were nearly 3 ft long, and I had never seen a group of companion fish anywhere near that big before, so I thought it was pretty danged cool (as if being in petting range of tiger sharks wasn't already!). B)
Anyway, I can hardly wait to see James, Alex, Jett and some of the other outstanding photographers on the trip post more of their stuff! I saw some of it on the boat, and as the saying goes, "You aint seen nothin yet!" ![]()
Bruce...I don't care what the rest say about the cobia...number 2 would have made me soil a good wetsuit. ![]()
How spectacular the 2nd and 3rd shot might be it is the 1st that is really great. It is actually the shot i like most from all the pictures on the page on your site.

I love that shot with the Tiger between his legs. That has got to be Grey with the crates?
Nice work
Todd
Here is one of James working away (not the best shot - but demonstrates the size and proximity of the tigers):

Alex
Eric wasn't the only one shooting video. Here is some of mine. Shot with my Nikon Coolpix S3.
Best to download the watch at twice size in Quicktime.
Alex
Interesting perspective on that video. I like how you zoomed the camera lens back when the shark came in tight. ![]()
Sure wish I could have joined you guys.
