  1. Some photos from today's dives..

    Wreck of Edina

Propellor - I've taken a similiar photo in the past, but today felt to shoot it in black & white..

Bow of Edina- Really tried to fill the frame with this, don't know if this is quite what I had envisaged or hoped when I took the shot.

Yellowhead wrasse- Think the very slight blurriness, imparts a sense of motion to the fish..

    School of Atlantic spadefish

    Fireworm I presume?

My enduring fascination with sunballs continues...., upped the shutter speed this time 1/2000s with f5.6, however I left the ISO at 100, instead of 50 so it seems a bit bright to my eyes.

I seem to be catching some rays here, perhaps would have been wiser if I tried this on a cloudy day...

    Any thoughts all?

  2. Jamdiver,

I really like the batfish or spadefish?? but all of the images look a little flat. Where did the punch in color go?

  3. I'm not really sure kelpfish...

I think it's a combination of the depth 28m (93ft) and the workflow that I was using before in Photoshop.

Which basically consisted of some automated underwater actions, i've been reading and playing around now and find that using manual levels, selective color and unsharp mask can help the 'punch' in colors..
