Thought you might like to see this, this is a Ceratosoma alleni, which according to Slugsite.com, is only found in the Philippines.
Found in 10 feet of water, Sabang Bay, Puerto Galera Philippines. In 4 years of diving that site, this is the first time I've seen one.
Stu
Exquisite!! Thanks for sharing, never seen anything like that.

Very well captured! When I find a new animal I´m always a little nervous and afraid I don´t get the picture as I like it; I think you did it!!
Outstanding Stu! I will be in PG next month.. maybe i find it too!
Hey Stu,
Have never seen that critter before. Simply superb! I'm sure you had an awesome trip. Will try and get together with you soon.
All the best, Jett
Stu from Richmond..
Jett from Poco...
I feel so at home in this thread....
How's the weather in White Rock gents? hahahaha
Mike,
It's supposed to be rainy 11ºC today but clearing up to a sunny 14º on the weekend. We found the critter in 10ft of water north of the Floating Bar in front of Octopus Divers in Sabang, just where the sea grass beds ends and the sand flats begin.
Stu
That is one beautiful frickin shot. Damn.

Hi Mike V.
Yup, Stu and I are buds and get together from time to time. If you find yourself back in Vancouver for a vist or just happen to be passing through I'm sure that would be excuse enough for a get together. So keep that in mind.
This will probably make Stu blush...but he is a very talented photographer and his topside images are a good as what he takes underwater. He's quite knowledgable about diving in the Phillipines having been there sooo many times. The Nudi picture is indicative of his work.
Sounds like you and Eric had a great time while he was in YAP. As you probably know by now, Eric shot some amazing video on the Tiger Shark Expedition.
All the best,
Jett
Aw shucks!

That is one fine shot. Looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.
