dahab alternative

am suppose to be heading to dahab in a week and in light of yesterday's bombing's i'm a little unsure if i still want to go. right now just looking at what my options are... anyone have any suggestions on alterantives relatively close to europe?

croatia? turkey? canary islands?

Dahab is safer this week than it was last week - if it were me I would go, if only to make the point that this stuff does not work, and should not be tolerated.

I made a point of booking my next trip to dive in the Red Sea the morning after the bombing.

The potential economic downturn in the area for the Egyptians will cause as much pain as the bombs ever did.

You could try London, New York or Bali ?

I would imagine that Dahab is not quite ready for visitors at the moment, both other resorts in Sinai should be fine.

As an alternative to Dahab you could try Nuweiba, which is very popular with British Photographers at the moment.
