  1. I really like playing with Jellyfish, and I found a couple interesting ones to shoot on this trip.

  2. Hi Herb,

These are excellent! I especially like the lighting on the second shot and the "biology" on the third. Jellyfish commensals are sooooo cool.

  3. Agreed. I too like the 2nd shot. Have you tweaked the colour balance or filters on this? If so, very effectively done.

  4. DSLR, we don't need no stinking DSLR.

    Great shots again.

  5. The second shot is fantastic, but I'd drawn to the third. The background gives it sort of an "otherwordly" quality.

    All great shots though...

  6. Talking of 'otherworldly' qualities......you mean like the NTI from my all time fave film?

  7. More nice work Herb.

Nice Medusa shots but I like the 3rd shot with the Bannerfish & filefish attacking it for dietry reasons, and the 4th shot depicting the internal nursery.

Like Todd quoted - "Who needs a DSLR!"

    Yup

Thanks. I made small adjustments with "levels" and "curves" on the overall intensity, not on the individual color channels.
