Nikon D200+Nikon 17-55mm+Aquatica?

Trying to get some more info on this line-up. 1st, anyone using the 17-55mm on the D200? How do you like it? How "macro" can you get compared to the Nikon 60mm?

2nd, Anybody using this in the new Aquatica housing? If so what extension rings are you using?

I believe the correct extension ring is #18457 ( same as 17-35 ) and the zoom gear #18711.

Peter you optimist! But it would be great if it turns out that easy. I think I will put my 17-35mm up for sale and hope

I don't know about Aquatica, but Subal recommends a longer extension for the 17-55 (70mm extension, as opposed to 60mm for th 17-35). I think that's because the 17-55 is 4.4'' long, the 17-35 is 4.2''. But the 17-55 works fine with an extension a bit shorter (66mm) than recommended by Subal and a +2 diopter.
