Here are few shots of the controls / mechanism's that might be of interest.
The feature that stood out immediately were the improvements in the overall design of controls and the addition of a removable camera saddle , a power on / off switch , the new style aperture control and the focus gear / control.
The last few Aquatica models have introduced several features first seen on Subals - which I think has improved their ergonomics considerably.
Peter I would be interested to see an external shot of the housing too - so you can see the positions of the shutter release and primary and secondary control dials and the handles.

Perfect... Thanks for posting the pictures.
I'll talk to you more when I arrive in Indonesia. :-)
With the D100 I always had trouble getting the 12-24 zoom gear to engage and still be able to adjust the f-stop. Peter do you think the new saddle will help keep the camera more "square" in the housing?
NWdiver - I have no doubt that the new slide / removable saddle will keep the camera exaclty where you want it.
Side views are without handles - will post amore details view tomorrow from the office.
and more
I dove with my A200 housing last week and the saddle mount ABSOLUTELY kept the camera in perfect position! I used several lenses that meshed well with the zoom zear and the camera remained totally stable, unlike my old D100 unit. The new "block" at the top of the housing back fits snugly against the front of the flash unit which also helps to stablize it and you need to turn your camera to "on" prior to sliding it into the housing and there is a notch in the off/on switch that when it's slid in while in the "on" position firmly affixs the camera at a third point......I can't say enough positive about the feel/handling of the new housing versus my old D100 housing.....I'm in love
