  1. Yesterday finally i tried my new housing underwater.

I found this housing/camera , the best tool combination for u/w photography that i have ever used.

I tried the 105 mm with and without the macromate lens and i found the ergonomics are great also the aligments for all buttons and gears works perfect .

My main complain from my previous D70 housing was the lack of on/off control , not a big deal on the D70 that can work for days with the same battery but a must on the D200 that is a battery sucker !

A very important discover for me was that the 105 mm nikon lens ( not the new VR ) doesn't extend completly with the port extension ring that i had used all the time with my previous Aquatica housings . Now i will have to stack in an adittional port extension to have enough room for the whole lenght of the 105 mm. If you are reading this and you have the same old ext. ring be careful to not scratch your port as it happened to me

I already notified Aquatica about this.

Finally i 'm posting some pics from yesterday .

    Happy diving
