I have just had sighting of a review (on land) carried out by Jon Tarrant for the BJOP magazine on the SD9. The conclusions are not very complementary.
"Sigma's camera is more limited than other digital SLR's & leaves a lot to be desired in terms of image quality at its highest sensitivity- a modest ISO400. Colour has been variable throughout testing;sometimes excellent & occasionall just plain wrong. The best that can be said is that the writers time may have been entirely wasted"
Oh dear! I thought the Foveon X3 was to be the next immediate techno breakthrough. Perhaps we will have to wait a bit longer.
Still its only one opinion. Time will tell.
Does anyone else have any other reviews on this?
