  1. Hi everyone,

I friend of mine bought few months a VX-HC1 Pro Sea & Sea housing . After he got the housing he tried to get a red filter for this camera but he was informed by Sea & Sea that they are not making any more for this specific housing and don't have on stock. I found quite strange that Sea & Sea still selling this housing but don't supply anymore for red filters.

Does anyone had the same problem? there is any other companies that makes red filters for this housing?

    Thanks for your help

  2. Several Japanese manufacturers are not recommending red filters for this camera-

  3. I'm quite happy with the filter that comes with the Ikelite housing. Adds very nice color. What's the port size? You could probably get one from Ikelite that fits on the outside with a rubber donut. They sell them in various sizes.

  4. DOes that housing have manual WB? If so then just buy a screw on one from URPro filters and manual white balance. Will still work on land too

  5. Which several ?

  6. Gotta agree with Mike - URPro filters do the trick every time.

Drop him an email and he'll be able to cut a secific size for you including the rubber boot so that you can attatch it externally (mind out for abrasive scratches though.
